This Privacy Policy explains how LEGENYX handles information when you use StartupOne, its public website, private founder workspace, support channels, integrations, connected AI features, and paid services. StartupOne is designed around private user workspaces and explicit sharing controls.
Account and identity information. This may include your name, email address, authentication identifiers, account role, and historical billing status where applicable.
Founder and business information. This may include startup projects, operating context, tasks, company memory, CRM records, financial snapshots, growth information, fundraising records, team and hiring information, automation settings, and other information you choose to store in StartupOne.
AI information. We process prompts, authorized StartupOne context, model outputs, provider metadata, and saved advisory insights needed to provide StartupOne AI features. When you connect your own AI provider, the provider credential is encrypted server-side and is not returned to the browser after storage.
Billing information. Stripe processes legacy payments; historical customer, subscription, transaction, and entitlement records may be retained for billing management and audit purposes, not product access. PayPal handles optional donations. StartupOne does not collect full payment-card numbers or PayPal credentials. Support-page views and donation-link clicks are usage events, not proof of a completed donation.
Usage and diagnostics. We may record route/page title, an anonymous session identifier, referrer, campaign parameters, timestamps, function or integration outcomes, audit events, and operational error references to understand product usage, secure the service, and troubleshoot failures.
We use information to provide and operate StartupOne; authenticate users; enforce ownership, tenant isolation, and explicit permissions; generate requested AI output; maintain company context and work history; maintain legacy billing and separately contracted service records; support collaboration; operate approved automations; prevent abuse and security incidents; troubleshoot and improve reliability; communicate about support, billing, or service changes; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Customer AI features use the user's own connected provider; no StartupOne subscription is required. When you connect OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or a compatible provider, StartupOne sends only the context classes you explicitly authorize for that connection and request. The external provider's own privacy, retention, training, and billing terms apply to information sent to that provider. Connected-AI output is treated as advisory content and does not receive execution authority merely because it is saved in StartupOne.
Your private workspace information is not made public merely because the StartupOne website is public. StartupOne may allow you to invite collaborators or explicitly share supported resources. Information you share with another user becomes available to that recipient according to the granted permission. You are responsible for choosing what to share and with whom.
If you explicitly opt in to StartupOne's collective project-revenue impact feature, eligible founder-reported project revenue may be included only in aggregate public totals. The public surface is designed not to expose the underlying private project record through that aggregate. Opt-in founder-reported figures are not represented as audited financial statements or as revenue caused by StartupOne.
We may use service providers to operate StartupOne, including hosting/platform infrastructure, authentication, payment processing, analytics or diagnostics, communications, and AI services. These providers process information as necessary to provide their services to us or to you. Stripe handles legacy payment processing and PayPal handles optional donations. Your connected AI provider processes content sent for your requested AI functionality and bills you under its terms.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and billing records, preserve security and audit evidence, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention can vary by data type. Deleting an account or resource may not immediately remove information from backups, security logs, payment records, or records we must retain for legal reasons.
You can control many workspace records directly in StartupOne, manage collaboration access, disconnect connected AI providers, and manage any existing Stripe subscription under Legacy Billing in Account. Product access is free regardless of subscription or donation status. For access, correction, export, deletion, privacy, or account-closure requests that are not available in-product, contact us at legenyxai@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect StartupOne information, including authenticated access controls, per-user authorization, server-side secret handling, encrypted storage for connected-AI credentials, audit records, and security validation in the software release process. No system can guarantee absolute security.
StartupOne is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information about children to StartupOne unless you have a lawful basis and the service is appropriate for that use.
We may update this policy as StartupOne changes. Material updates will be reflected by a new effective date and may be communicated through the service where appropriate.
